Brian Newman is the Office Managing Member of Dykema’s Los Angeles office. He is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who understands that the value he provides clients extends far beyond the courtroom. Combining formidable advocacy skills with strong business judgment, Brian defends and advances his clients’ interests in complex litigation by developing strategies that facilitate constructive, favorable resolutions aligned with their broader business objectives.

While he has particular experience defending clients in class actions and complex commercial litigation, Brian regularly protects his clients’ interests across a wide range of matters, including financial services, intellectual property, employment law, cryptocurrency, and cannabis-related litigation. He received his JD from UCLA School of Law and his BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
